This is the Project 52 track from week 23, and features the toy orchestra!

This track was the first to be recorded for the Developer album Meet the Widget. It was recorded in 2005, and was actually written so that Jake Leger and I would have something to use to test out the recording setup. It ended up being a good song and sounding pretty great so I kept it on the album. On this track I sang, played guitar and bass. Jake Leger played drums. Just about every other song from this album features Karl Hendricks playing bass, making it the transverse of the Karl Hendricks Trio.

This track is also from the Meet the Widget sessions. It’s a full band version of a song that I’d written a couple years before. I had a lot of fun making this one.

This track is probably from some time in 2004. I remember that it was written and recorded with just the baritone guitar and a simple beat that I made in Reason.

Freaky… I remember Sister-Dear from way back… I always wondered if there was some hidden meaning in it for me :)
