Good luck with this, man! I decided to Google search to see if anyone else is doing this. I'm also recording one song per week for one year. Mine started December 7th on my mom's Birthday and I'm still going strong. We have 2 different genres of music but people have no idea what it takes to write, produce, and record your own tracks. Good luck, man!

Hi Evan. I just had a chance to check out your website and info about your 52 weeks project on the No Sleep website. Since starting this I've run into a bunch of similar variations on the music/art/etc every week for a year theme. I'm not sure if you're familiar with Shane Beales , he appears to have completed a song-a-week project 52 as well back in 2006. One of my goals for the site is to revamp the links page into categories with one of those being various 52-week projects.

Congrats on having your project released. The little bit that I've heard on your Myspace page sounds really good. Also, it looks like we had some of the same motivating factors leading up to doing this (though I'll begrudgingly admit that the initial inspiration came from my wife making me go see the movie "Julie & Julia". I'm glad you contacted me. Your success keeps me motivated.

BTW, I had a great time when we played Chicago in November. The Hideout is a great venue. Hopefully the Karl Hendricks Trio will be out again this year. It's a great city. Let me know if you're ever playing in Pittsburgh.

Best of luck on your current endeavors.
